Our guest speaker will be Rick Le Burkien, Communications Consultant. Come and hear Rick speak on “Rising above the Competitive noise”
Rick Le Burkien’s extensive educational and professional career has been grounded in bringing large groups of people with diverse backgrounds and values together towards a common and positive direction. Leadership, problem-solving, communications and passion are all integral to Rick’s background.
He earned her baccalaureate degree at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he majored in public education. Being the recipient of the President of the United States Leadership Scholarship Award crystallized his interest in bringing communities together towards a common and positive goal. He earned his Masters of Public Health, majoring in Mass Communications, from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
His interest in human performance, strategic planning and community development were further enriched by his position as Director of Marketing for Wilson Learning Corporation and Vice President of a Provant Learning Systems company, which afforded him the opportunity not only to meet and interact closely with leaders from across the globe, but also to ensure their financial success. The added value that he brought to that dimension of people’s lives earned him the reputation of having outstanding “relationship building skills,” a distinction that has served him well in all of his professional undertakings.
The Career Forum is a free community service and is designed for those in a career transition. The focus of the Career Forum is to provide information on industry trends and forecasts, guest speaker presentations, resources, networking, and an opportunity for individuals to discuss career specific issues affecting them in today’s job market.
